One bag travel is the future - not only is it more eco-friendly, but it allows you to step off the plane and straight into your next adventure. The Storr Carry-On Backpack is our fourth bag nominated for a Carryology Carry Award. Thanks to everyone @Carryology for the recognition, and the amazing coverage they provide of not just ours, but all the other amazing bags nominated (we’re looking at you @racingatelier ). Thanks to Carryology for nominating the Banana CrossBody in their “Best Sling” category! Whether it’s to go pockets-free at a festival, to use as a minimalist daily carry, or as a stealth travel bag to keep essentials close to hand, we don’t know how we’d get by without one. Please vote for the Banana to win - the link is above in our story highlights!

The Wee Lug Messenger Bag has been nominated for “Best Work Shoulder Bag” in the Carryology Carry Awards, and we need your vote! The Wee Lug is meant to be your ultimate cycle companion - a bag we created when we ticked every single box on our list of requested features. Deluxe Cobra buckle, quick access pockets, weatherproof plastic-free canvas, quick-release straps, internal storage, lifetime guarantee… the list goes on. If you love it as much as we do, please consider voting for us in the awards. You can find the link in our Instagram Story!

The Bannoch Backpack has been nominated for “Best Work Backpack” in the Carryology Carry Awards, and we need your vote! We created the Bannoch with timeless style and functionality in mind, and a belief that a team of Scotland’s most talented craftspeople could join forces with some of the UK’s most talented suppliers, and create something really special. With plastic-free materials, and a lifetime guarantee, it’s both what we think a work backpack should look like, and how we think one should be made. Check out the link in our story to vote!

Looking after your bag just got a whole lot easier. You can top up the weatherproofing on your new dry-finish waxed canvas bag using our reproofing spray. It’s super effective, super simple and best of all, fluorocarbon free! Bags made before April 2019 still need the solid wax, which is still available online.

Smart enough for the city. Strong enough to escape it. The Assynt has been a signature piece in our range for a few years now, and while the Mk2 was a solid foundation, the Mk2 takes this crossover pack to the next level!

When packing light, everything in your pack must earn its place. Anything that isn’t used regularly doesn’t belong. What are your travels essentials?

When we first set eyes on our Cumin waxed canvas, it was love at first sight. Warm without being too bright, colourful without being too vibrant. We didn't know how to fit it into our core colour range, but we knew we had to use it in something. And so, our "Guest Colour" was born.⠀ ⠀ The Guest colour is a chance for us to experiment. A full range of products available in a new and exciting fabric, with one proviso: when we run out, there won't be any more.⠀ ⠀

The three colours that make up our core range weren't chosen to fit in with the latest fast fashion trends, or to match the newest disposable accessory. A bag that’s guaranteed for life needs to be made out of something timeless, so our olive, navy, and black canvas colours were chosen to match with the only thing that matters - the great outdoors. . . . . . . .

When we planned to bring back our classic Og roll-top backpack, the idea was to honour the original design, while providing some key design updates. But, after almost doubling the capacity, adding modular storage options, a laptop sleeve, and quick access pockets, as well as transitioning to our new dry-finish waxed canvas, we realised we weren’t quite in Kansas anymore. ∙ So, rather than the Og mk II, meet the Vorlich, our fully featured expedition pack. Ready for Scotland, ready for anything. ∙ Og lovers, we hope we’ve done you proud! . . . . . . . . .

We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with students in the Fashion & Commercial Design Unit at Clyde College, on a project that tasked them with creating a capsule collection inspired by Trakke. . When it came time to judge their work, we were blown away by the creativity and skill on display. One student, however, came out as a clear winner. Gillian Martin, @House_Of_Mud, drew her inspiration from Shackleton, and our very own Clyde River, to create a collection that - like Trakke - is rooted in Glasgow manufacturing, but destined for worldwide adventure. . You can see some of her amazing work in this post. Congratulations, Gillian! .
