Dove alert! When I see a dove land on the patio, I squeal “what’s that?!” — a phrase which Richard has now learned! When he hears it, he stops whatever he’s doing and starts staring/chattering at the patio, seeking out the birds. 🕊

This meowfest happened RIGHT after he got spooked and ran back inside (we were just playing with him outside). So I think he’s concerned for our safety out here 😸
