Wouldn't you like to see this tv-show?! The whole crew of the exhibition rounded up in today's outfits, from left to right; 1940s, 1950, 1960s and 1970s. We're all gonna be there tomorrow again, in new outfits! Rumors say I'm gonna have yet another colorful 50s skirt and Ingemar's gonna "go further down" in late 60s.... 😏
Antikmässan/The Antiques fair is on! ✨ Karoline came for a look, touching the very first hand print design "Voodoo" by Viola Gråsten in 1950 (with her in-Stockholm-in-1960-made birthday ring on!). Also @simonaslittlediary and @missviola_m are on the fair looking great (and selling some pretty fine clothing) as well as @vintagemannen acting as the 1960s Mad Men couple together with Anne-Marie and Leili / @lagningsaktivisterna lounging in her 1940s area. Looking forward to the coming four days! 💪💦
Just got the news that one of my textile idols and biggest inspiration Ebba con Eckermann has passed, 96 years old. This cool woman! I am so grateful and honored I got to meet her - thank god I gathered enough courage to contact her three years ago. And now I am so glad we made the feature about her in @scandinavianretromag just in December! She deserved to know just how much of a large foot print she had made on Swedish design and textile history before she left this life. I have no words to describe her extremely cool and brave yet humble persona and to listen to her crystal clear memories was like stepping into a movie. And I feel even better about representing 1950s weaving now at @antikmassan ; I am proud to continue what she worked for her whole life! I will always remember when I showed her the skirt I had made with her in mind and she said; "Well that could've been my design!" Not sure I'll ever get a better compliment. 💔😪 — Swipe to see photos of her, her US customer folder and when she came to my graduation.
