Embrace your mistakes! When learning new concepts while skill training, there’s nothing better than watching your on camera! Here we’re determined to perfect this BTB-Bounce Pass to simulate a natural pick & pop series. After the pass, relocate towards the wing, then come meet the big for the handoff & it’s go time... “ISO!” . . Find some space & work on your game! 🏃🏻‍♂️: @_will.chun_ 📸: @next.lvl.athlete

Practice doesn’t make perfect... but Perfect practice does! Shot mechanics are huge when looking to increase both your range and shooting percentage. Try to break the wrist before the ball hits your hands, be sure your ready to shoot by the time your gather step is complete. Find some space & work on your game! . . .

Here we’re working on different attack options using jabs & rip-through’s. One thing we constantly simulate is taking up as much ground as possible using one 2 dribbles or less. Remember, the effectiveness is in the simplicity! Go through your different scoring options with a self-pass, keep the pivot planted, and hold yourself accountable for 15-25 makes of each option! Here we’re working exploding off of a hip switch, using a push-crossover to create space. The key is to explode downhill selling the drive, then proceed to stop on a dime with a wide base using either a punch-drag, behind the back, or put them to together. Keeping your head up is key so regardless of the reaction, you can keep the play active. I’m always preaching quality reps before adding the finish. 10 reps each direction until you feel comfortable. . . @easymoneysniper KD is one of the best at using this move because he can dunk on you whenever he feels like it, but also has the option to raise up & shoot as well as the best guards in the league. Shai Alexander was the victim last night! 👨🏾‍💻🎒 . . What details do you look at when watching your favorite players?? Find some space & work on your game! . .

Game 1 in the books! Pick & Roll concepts ran to perfection by Dj Augustin @djaugustin ! Make sure you keep the sound up 🗣!! . . Here the Raptors kept Khawi on the primary ball handler. But as you see instead of Khawi fighting over the top of the ball screen, he trusted Gasol to close the gap (bad idea) when prompting the switch. This left @djaugustin no choice but to make him pay 🔫🔫!! . . Great Win for the Magic tonight! As a @Celtics fan, an upset would be 👌🏾 . . Find some space & work on your game!

We get better when we sharpen the details! Here’s a basic scoring series we use to warmup: Start with 3-4 retreat dribbles in any variation you’d like (Between the legs, protection dribble, behind the backs, etc...), then attack with one or two forward dribbles downhill exploding out of a double move of your choice. Here we emphasize exploding from a low position out of a “Tween-Cross”. (Main goal is to simulate attacking of the defender from a low position. Shoulders should stay down until its time to score). Make 10 layups/dunks attacking both sides of the court. Next drill shown, Iso work out of triple threat. Again, the low battle usually tends to win! Rip through pull-ups off a shot fake going both left and right. . Find some space & work on your game!

Tough loss for my @celtics last night! But @gmb_chum12 always puts on a clinic in the open floor as well as in pick & roll situations! Watch how he initiates contact with his off arm to draw the defender into the screener; once he draws you in, his pace goes from 0-100 making help side commit to stopping the drive. This is where the game slows down for the great Point Guards! . . . There’s so much to learn from watching these High Level guards. Also notice how he doesn’t let the defense set up but pushing the ball as fast & far as possible until someone decides to pick up the ball handler. Then it’s time to set up the offense. Details! Details! Details! @gmb_chum12 @nba @celtics . . . What details do you look at when watching your favorite players?? Find some space & work on your game! (Voice over commentary coming soon!)
