This past Saturday I got the honor to introduce Ani DeFranco at the . But before I introduced her I was asked to talk about the climate movement and how we need YOUR ACTIVISM more than ever before to win this fight for our future! Also, shout out to my nonprofit @Earth_Uprising which had it's full launch this Friday. (Also thank you everyone for bearing with me while I shamelessly publicized it in my IG story haha!) At the festival we got some henna tattoos of the organizations symbol and I couldn't be happier for the community Earth Uprising is building.💚

WEEK 27 of our @unitednations in NYC. Today, indigenous elders brought ceremony and blessing to us. They said our mother is dying & painted our faces with ochre so we would be close to her. They spoke to us about how to be true activists and we were honored by their wisdom. 💚 @olivepit_ @the_new_gt @valentinaossayarrow @theo_greenfield2005 @margotwillocq

My day on capital hill has been a dream so far. I got to sit down and have a meeting with @kirstengillibrand. Since she's running for president, it was amazing talking to a potential world leader about the , climate policy and even @jayinslee's Evergreen Economy Plan alongside @una.usa's Exec. Director Rachel Pittman.

Suffragette white at the Global Leadership Summit at @reaganitcdc today! Thank you @una.usa for inviting @climatekristin and I to speak about intergenerational climate activism and about the youth movement. So happy I got to meet advocates from all across the USA. Today I was honored to speak at the @unenvironment . I told them "Today is World Environment Day, and I think the most important thing for all of us to consider, is the environment we are leaving future generations. The health of our climate and environment is the foundation for our personal health, our human rights and even the health of our economy." @unitednationshumanrights @unitednations

WEEK 25 of our @unitednations in NYC! Today, an entire 4th grade class from Brooklyn showed up at the strike! is growing and preparing for an entire summer of action. The climate crisis won't end when school is over, and neither will we! @gretathunberg @fridaysforfutureusa @student_climate_action @the_new_gt @the_wild_miachka

Today, students school striked for climate all around the world demanding action from our governments and world leaders! In New York City we had thousands of students throughout the day on the streets fighting for their future. The day included a march, speeches, a citizen's arrest, and a die-in for 11 minutes to signify 11 years till climate change is irreversible. Thank you to everyone who came out today! This fight isn't over yet, we still have a long way to go for climate action. But I couldn't think about fighting for my future without all of you. 💚💚

Today my mom walked for her M.A. in Climate and Society at Columbia University! I really proud of her. My mom is a first generation college student and it took her over 20 years to get her college degree. She graduated only last year @ucdavis. She worked all the way through while raising me, my brothers and my sisters. When she applied to grad school at @columbia, she said she wouldn't get in, but I knew she would. She's not done yet, in the fall she starts her Ph.D! I Love you @climatekristin❤❤

WEEK 23 of my @unitednations in NYC! Today I protested with @olivepit_ and @the_new_gt! Special thanks to @jayinslee for joining us! Climate change is going to affect our generation the most and us youth won't stop demanding action! The next is happening next Friday 5/24, at Columbus 2 PM where we will be marching to Times Square. Come join us!

My mom is the most amazing woman! She is my mentor, my role model, my hero and always has my back in everything I do! I love you mum! ❤❤

Last night, I got the honor to give a "toastamonial" (toast+testimonial) at the @rainforestalliance annual gala which was held at the @amnh. I think one of the best parts of the night though, was getting to hang out with the dinosaurs!
