This is what it looks like when you have no mood and it's way way too hot to workout. Despite having no real desire and energy, I completed a 40 MIN HIIT, cardio and ab workout. I hate feeling like this but hope I'll get over this funk. Soon. It sux.😔☹️😡 #workoutcomplete

Finally back on track again for Day 1 of Week 3 with Fitness Blender's FB Low Impact workout! Today's lower body strength and HIIT workout is a mega sweat fest though I was doing the easier version! I was pretty surprised that Daniel was the one doing the easier version since he was always the one killing everyone. 😅 Easier version or not, I gave up on doing the extra credit challenge 'cos my legs are screaming at the end of the workout. OUCH! Nevertheless, doing something is better than nothing! 😊 Feeling good to work out after a few days of feasting but this is by no means a 'punishment' for eating those snacks during those past few days, which is a mindset that should be thrown out the window. Just remember that a few days of rest or what-not will not kill your progress but a wrong mindset will. Let's all live a healthy lifestyle in both mind and body! Continue slaying! 😘😘😘 . . . #workoutcomplete

Since my body-- mostly my upper arms-- was quite sore today, I was beyond grateful that it was a yoga/ stretching day with @fitnessblender. In addition, since I wasn't doing anything too heavy, and had LOADS of free time today, I thought, what better time is there to try and increase my flexibility and mobility with @thebodyweightwarrior ? Twenty minutes long, some of it was things I do fairly regularly, but I only made it about halfway through before it got to a place of things my body simply physically does not do 😭. It's always interesting for me to realize how much more flexible I *could* be, and how things that look simple really take work... . I'm definitely looking forward to exploring more mobility and am going to try and incorporate it a few days per week. . On another note, I'm almost at the halfway point of , and like I said, need to start making some significant changes... nice little coincidence that it lands on a Monday 😉. Here goes nothing!

239.6 - my current post vacation weigh in. That’s 2.6 lbs GAINED since January 1st. 💁🏻‍♀️ I will say that I intentionally did not step on the scale last Saturday before we left, so I don’t know how much of that was truly gained in the last week. But let’s recap: Things I did on vacation: -Ate whatever I wanted, including dessert with most meals (but I stopped when I was full) -Consumed more sugary, alcoholic drinks than any person should in a week -Relaxed -Had 3 active workout days -Had a spa day, complete with a Swedish massage, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and hot tub time -Enjoyed the beach every single day Things I did not do on vacation: -Wear a Fitbit -Count a calorie, macro or @weightwatchers point -Stress -Weigh myself -Count calories burned during my workouts -Feel a single tinge of guilt for my indulgences I am now back to reality. Got a shortened @dandeandthelion workout in for 30 minutes. I tracked all my points today. I ran my first mile since my hip injury. And I am feeling good. I am bloated, but confident by Saturday I will be back to a normal weigh in weight. Meal prep is starting. Workouts are scheduled and I am looking forward to a typical routine. Let’s do this!
