Playing a musical instrument has been shown to be a healthy activity for children and even suggests positive brain development. However, choosing a musical instrument for you child is hard and you may stress over which one is the best. Choosing one young is important, however even more important is: . a) the child has a drive to play that instrument. Allow them to dabble and try out different instruments before choosing. . b) Not putting too much pressure and making them go through extensive amounts of lessons to the point where they don't like it anymore. . c) Having a breadth of different instruments they play instead of just exclusively one. . #violin
