A million little pink flowers growing out of a carpet of sticky death. Beauty. This is just 1 of 6 that I placed randomly throughout the house and outside. Just wanted to see how well they grow in various conditions. A little science. All of this started out as 5 rosettes that I got bout 2 years ago. Pygmy sundews is my jam. #sarracenia

Oh wow- look who is putting forward her best crystal pitcher, the incomparable White Ruby Sarracenia😍🌱♥️ The nuances on this beauty is unparalleled of the white and red headed pitcher plants. . . This Queen of Trumpet Pitchers is very early on crystallizing her most intensely ruby colored gems for us! ✨💎✨ . . She was found deep in marshland of Splinter Hill, coincidentally the same latitude as the newly awakened Serpenty Sarracenia of Sempter County (a previous post). . . She’s a true jewel and very precious to me♥️ . . #sarracenia

Sarracenia are some of the most exotic cuts we grow. These are the leaves of carnivorous pitcher plants that are native to the marshlands of the Carolinas. They are not only spectacular beauties, but they last for weeks in a vase. The plants we have now are from Jon's collection he had growing on his porch when we were in college. Love springs eternal when well tended. ❤️❤️❤️ . . #sarracenia

😋Ma carnivore en fleurs ! White Flowers My 🐱isnt’t interested ! ~ #sarracenia
