"We are weaned from our timidity In the flush of love’s light we dare be brave And suddenly we see that love costs all we are and will ever be. Yet it is only love which sets us free." #MayaAngelou - Happy Father's Day! - - - - -

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully. When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light. When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it. When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway. When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back. When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some. When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going. When times are tough, dare to be tougher. When love hurts you, dare to love again. When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal. When another is lost, dare to help them find the way. When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand. When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile. When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too. When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best. Dare to be the best you can – At all times, Dare to be! —————————————- : : : : : ——————————— If you require assistance listening to your intuition, intuitive readings and free healing are available 24/7 at link in bio. ———————————— Let Your Intuition Guide You ! #mayaangelou

❤️We are more the same than we are different. All Fathers love their children.❤️ ⠀ Too many people these days are hyper-focused on what is different about us. When in reality, we have more in common than not. Each person on this planet wants the same things: love, community, family, security, happiness, and if given the responsibility, the ability to provide their children a better life. ⠀ All Fathers worry and struggle to fulfill their role as “Dad.” They all hope their baggage, efforts, and learning curve as a parent doesn’t screw up their children. ⠀ Maya Angelou once said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” ⠀ She was most likely referring to Civil Rights, but think of the quote in the context of your father (and mother). They were young, still growing as people, and trying to to do the best they could with little prior knowledge. As your parents become grandparents, we often see what I refer to as ”The Invasion of The Body Snatchers” effect. They have grown and now know better, so they do better. ⠀ So Today, let’s put aside our differences, embrace our sameness. Forgive our Fathers (and Mothers) for any slights we may still feel and celebrate the Men who took the job of raising, molding, and loving us. ⠀ Because after all, didn’t they do a good job? Despite everything or because of everything, aren’t you a fabulous human being? ⠀ Happy Father’s Day! ⠀ #mayaangelou @oprah
