Happy Monday! I know I haven't been active on my Motivational Monday's so though I would give you all a little sentence to remember for the start of your week. "WHEN YOU INVEST IN YOURSELF YOU INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH". You can be the one to show up at the gym everyday or eat 100% healthy everyday but guess what our health goes so much beyond that!!!! Have you told yourself one thing lately that was positive 🤔 Have you spent time just relaxing and appreciating some time to just "breath". What about that relationship with yourself.... is it a positive one? Do you say hateful things to yourself or about yourself. Why 🤷🏻‍♀️ would you say those things to a friend??? The answer is no.... so stop saying them to yourself! Love yourself first before anything else, heal from a deeper place then just the physical layer. News Flash..... no one is perfect and we all have the same doubts as most! Today I choose to send some love to myself and then hope to project that out to all the others I come in contact with. Avocado Toast Breakfast.... not sure it gets better 💚 maybe if I had an egg with it but time was on crunch this . How are you all embracing this new year... what are your goals for this year? Did you set any.... share them with me below!!! Let me encourage you.... remind you.... you are in charge of every aspect of yourself and any change comes from within first! Benefits of avocados: -avocados are rich in fiber & can improve eye & bone health, and promote healthy liver function. They have MORE POTASSIUM then bananas for those of us who need that (which is most of us). Potassium helps reduce pressure, and your risk of heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. Have you ate an avocado yet today??🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑 Share those goals 👇👇👇 Mine is to continue my growth in the practice of Yoga and share it with others as much as I can! #healthytownliving

How is it Monday already....🤷🏻‍♀️. I coming off a wonderful weekend away in Vermont with my fily. Such a relaxing time at the fily cp. I have posted up a new blog post to hopefully give you some motivation for the week. Breakfast started with some greens this morning, not sure I had many greens this weekend 😬 Egg, sautéed Swiss chard, from NH organic wheat sourdough bread to make avocado toast. #healthytownliving

Homemade Banana & Apple bread on the side this morning 🤤. I made this gluten free & sugar free bread on Monday and been loving it toasted with a drizzle of pure local maple syrup!! Wanna make it.... 1 1/2 cup Cassava Flour (from @thrivemkt ) 3/4 cup almond milk (may need to adjust for consistency) 1/2 cup local honey (can use maple syrup if you want it sweeter) 2 eggs 2 bananas (very ripe) 1 local Apple (cut into cubes) 1tsp of baking soda 1/2 tsp of salt ( I always use sea salt) 1 tsp of cinnamon 1 tsp of pure vanilla ( I make my own) I sift the flour in a bowl and add dry ingredients and mix together. In separate bowl mix eggs, almond milk, honey, apple & vanilla. Then blend your dry and wet ingredients together. If to dry add more almond milk, you want a but wet batter not a dough consistency here. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in greased and floured Pan ( can use coconut oil & same cassava flour) * tip---- add nuts, dried cranberries or cocoa nips if you want. *benefits of cassava flour.... gluten free, nut free, grain free if you need that in your diet. #healthytownliving

Local Love here folks.... I live in such a amazing town!! Sometimes I take it for granted truly! It's no city, there is no hustle or bustle however there is community, love, and pride of this town! My friend came for a visit tonight and I broke out all the local love! I will never ever in a million years give up wine and cheese! Ever!!! #healthytownliving

Breakfast will always be my favorite.... maybe right after soup 🤣 I was so happy to come across this spicy chorizo made locally in Claremont NH. It has no nitrates and animals humanly raised 😀. They are a 4th generation of artisanal meat makers. 😋. ----- Breakfast was basmati rice I cooked in my bone broth and added curry powder. 1 local farm fresh egg. Chorizo (skin off) and sautéed in avocado oil with Swiss chard from garden. 😘 of siracha! ❤️ ----- Benefits of Swiss Chard.... Brain Booster Reduce Inflammation Helps Stabilize Blood Sugar Immune Booster Cancer Fighter Among more!!! 💚 #healthytownliving
