Mountmellick Embroidery Competition 2019 Rules: This competition is open to ALL This competition will be judged under TWO Age groups, UNDER 18 & OVER 18 There is no restriction on size of item entered into the competition Piece must be white on white and comply with the rules of Mountmellick embroidery Pieces can be both traditional & contemporary Several pieces may be entered subject to the correct fee per item being paid For Example: a set of 6 place mats will be considered as 6 individual items The Judges decision will be final Entry Fee is €10 per piece entered Competitors based in Ireland are responsible for the safe delivery and collection of these pieces Overseas competitors must ensure that their pieces are properly packaged Mountmellick Embroidery Museum and Mountmellick Development Association will not be held responsible for any damage which may occur during transport to and from the competition Closing date for receipt of pieces is Monday 16th September 2019 Results will be announced at 2:30pm on Sunday 22nd September in the Mountmellick Embroidery Museum By entering this competition the Entrant automatically agrees to abide by these rules Information ALL pieces entered must be accompanied by the following: Entrants name, address, email (if one has one) and a contact phone number Correct Entry Fee Brief description of the piece entered Please indicate if under 18 or over 18. Failure to do so will automatically place your entry in the over 18 section.
