@marcinevin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I frequently hear from people who experience bloating every single day, from the time they wake up to when they go to bed, no matter what they eat and sometimes even when they have not yet eaten.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And that is not normal. Nor is it something we should have to live with. As someone who experienced bloating for years, I know just how much in can interfere with your quality of life when it is chronic and unmanaged.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s uncomfortable, if not downright painful. It can be embarrassing and even lead to social isolation. And trying to uncover the cause can be frustrating and mentally exhausting.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Often I see chronic bloating be the result of stress. Stress on our bodies from eating foods we are intolerant to (even healthy ones!). Stress from eating on the go and not getting into rest and digest mode. Stress from overdoing high intensity exercise. And the mental stress from life itself.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The tips I listed here a good starting point to getting some relief. But if the basic lifestyle modifications aren’t enough, I strongly encourage testing to see if some sort of gut imbalance is going on. That was my issue, and once I addressed it the bloating went away almost immediately.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know it can be a sensitive subject, so if you’re struggling, please feel free to reach out privately. I’m happy to help you troubleshoot or point you in the right direction for getting help.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . #eatforhealth

How do you take your coffee? ☕ ... 📸 credit @bravecoffeechico ... Can drinking coffee before a nap actually help you sleep better? 😴 In my latest feature with @eatthisnotthat I dig into the idea of coffee naps. Here are a few takeaways: ☕ You can feel the effects of caffeine as soon as 30-60 minutes after consumption. ☕ Caffeine stays in the for up to 3-5 hours. ☕ Drinking caffeine six hours before bedtime can reduce the amount of time you sleep at night by more than one hour. ... Yes yes yes!!! This are delicious @drtarasunshine ♥️ . . . . . ♥️ via @drtarasunshine ・・・ HAPPY !! . Running out the door for spin class with a boosted decaf (decaf + @almondcow almond milk + @sprooslife MCT collagen creamer + @organikahealth maca + @freshcapmushrooms 6 lions mane 👌🏼), but I’ve got some pre-prepped sweet potato in the fridge for when I get home. Thinkin a redo of this may be exactly 😆 . Sweet potato (SP) toast is incredibly versatile & easy to prepare. It makes a great nutrient-rich, grain-free alternative to bread. . SPs are loaded with fibre and vitamins & minerals (such as vit A, C & potassium), as well as disease-fighting antioxidants. Studies suggest that SP consumption can have anti-cancer, anti-aging & anti-inflammatory benefits, and even support sugar regulation & healthy weight loss. . See website Food Joy page (search “sweet potato”) for direction on how to make SP toast in both the oven & toaster. . The topping options are limitless and here I went with: . 1) Beetroot “cream cheese” (pre-steamed purple beetroot blended with @kitehillfoods dairy-free almond milk spread) + broccoli microgreens + sesame seeds. . 2) Smashed 🥑 with a squeeze of lime + a 6-min jammy egg (boil for 6 min then run under cold water then peel) + S&P. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #eatforhealth

New! Chicken “Under a Brick”. This technique is one of my favorite ways to prepare chicken because you are guaranteed crispy, golden, tender chicken every time! I use organic free range chicken from a local farm here in New York. Better quality = better tasting and better for you! If you never ever mess up… are you really living your life?⁣ ⁣ It’s and not all transformations are external. I used to try to make a “home” in my comfort zone, I know how it feels to want to stay there! I a type A, gotta be perfect because showing any flaws would just be the end of the world. But…⁣ ⁣ You don’t grow there AND there’s no EXCITEMENT there either! There’s nooooo party in that zone - the party is in the discomfort zone! WOOOOT!⁣ ⁣ Looking back, I can see it was so evident in my workouts. I would go through the motions, do the reps, show up, but… I would pick a weight or a move I could do. I even tried the progr I’m currently doing at home a year or so ago and went “meh” this is a little too hard I don’t feel “comfortable”, let me pick something else.⁣ ⁣ I wondered why I wasn’t seeing much change happening versus now I’m excited to do an extra rep after she says DONE, or pick up a heavier weight because I want to see whether I can do it.⁣ ⁣ You don’t brag about an easy quest; you brag about getting through something that took grit to do! So what is taking grit to work on for you right now?⁣ ⁣ ☝🏼If you’re looking for an adventure, a way to help others, while also working on your personal journey, then let’s chat.
