Continuing from last post... Health & the EXCEPTION. Pointing out there's a "BUT" to consider in avoiding SUGAR. Don't deny yourself that treat.... don't stick with going all OUT, at start point cold turkey, if it's all your thinking about! Allow yourself & enjoy a small indulgence then move on. We don't want you to eat the pantry out of everything you're not craving only to then eat in large amounts what you were avoiding in the first place. AND HERE it is again, BUT... I don't mean a enjoy a dozen small indulgences a day. If that's your situ, you need to drink drink & drink a lot of water to drown that craving (it works, believe me!). AND...Don't eat it on the run!  Set aside, in the quiet, to slowly savour that small treat. This will provide enough time to let your brain know you are satisfied. Then go do something active. Boost the happy hormones naturally so the desire for more totally fades away. Know that the less sweet treats you consume, the less you will crave it. In fact, the longer you sustain this in favour of feeling great, the more you will not enjoy the distablizing hit it gives you when you have that odd treat. Our bodies do not need it, and are not made to utilize it. So Avoid it. Better still give it away. Your body, mind & soul will love you for it. Over time Kilo's will silently & sustainably slip naturally away.  You'll think better, mind will be sharper, your physical health & overall emotional & mental wellbeing, will reward so noticeably you will wonder why you didnt do yourself this favour a long time ago. Again...Remember to be patient. Restoring health takes time. It is not a diet. It is a lifestyle. Understanding this,  will come when the will to sustain the good health you have created, makes the thought of returning to old ways & your old self, non existent. 💪 #bodyfood ***not an expert, just in to healthy.

Healthy... is just about starting & keeping at it. No extra $$$ needed. No fancy products. No rigid plans to tick off. No exaggerated promises. All you need is YOU & WILL to make a change. A few straight up, simple guidelines. 1. Create a good mindset. Have fun. Live with purpose. Be grateful. Laugh. 2. Food. Just as simple. Don't eat for the sake of it. Include small portions of meat, match  fresh foods to satisfy, not drown & saturate your appetite - food here is unprocessed 90% of the time (Bread, wraps, cheese, remember are all processed). Still have a treat each week. Remember to chill, maybe with a beverage or two & enjoy, though not everyday! By yourself or with uplifting, feel good friends. Both are good for your soul. 3. Move. Get active.Get outdoors. Be proactive in your day & do what makes YOU happy. Listen to your body, it's very smart knowing what you need &that makes you feel good, healthy & happy - with the exception of one thing. Will get to that. 4. Exercise & food -Everyone is different, so don't concern yourself with what they are doing, find what works for you & stick with it. 5. Lastly, the exception - sugar. The processed, added, non naturally present in food kind. Avoid it. There is a BIG BUT here!!! Want to know what that BUT is??? Stay tuned for my next post. Lastly, Remember to be patient. Restoring health takes time. It is not a diet. #bodyfood
