Research shows that Autism affects more boys than girls but recent studies suggest that this might not be the real case. This year the focus is on how Autism is affecting girls because it would appear that the tests used in the diagnosis of Autism focuses more on symptoms that are more visible in boys. _________ In other words, there may be so many undiagnosed females out there equally struggling with the condition. They just may have been able to mask it for much longer. __________ Autism is not a "boy thing".
