NEW UPPER ALERT πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–βž–I try and always give you the why behind what I do and the gear I run. I’m also a huge fan of dedicated platforms if financially available. I have had my @noveske_llc 12.2 300 blackout upper for a while now. This upper rocks an @eotech , laser, and light set up for NV and designed to run supersonic ammo. Supersonic ammo has more powder, travels faster, and therefore needs more barrel length to maximize powder burn. Supersonic 300blk typically achieves full powder burn in 12in of barrel. Past 12in you aren’t achieving much more velocity to warrant a longer platform. This is my hunting and 150 in gun. My new @knightarmco mod 2 9.5in 300blk will be my subsonic pdw. With a subsonic round you have a heavier Bullet traveling slower, meaning less powder in the casing. Therefor for subs you are achieving full powder burn in 8in or barrel. This means this 9.5 is perfect for a can and subs. Keeping a smaller package for a backpack, home, or vehicle this upper provides huge amounts of maneuverability while maximizing the round it is designed for. Science is cool and should be considered when setting up a platformπŸ€™πŸΌπŸ€™πŸΌ ... now I need a sr30 lower and optics to have the 9.5 upper dedicated full time to a full gun.
